The Haberdashery is a homey cafe and garden restored from an old Victorian shop. The warm and welcoming environment has a quirky feel to it, with mismatched vintage furniture and crockeries.
The seasonally-changing menu is filled with sophisticated comfort foods, many of which are vegetarian and vegan. Most ingredients are bought locally; the meat is from a butcher on the street, the tea from a hundred-year-old family business nearby, and the halloumi is freshly made on a dairy farm in Barnet. Everything is baked in-house, including their bread and muffins served in photo-worthy garden pots.
Be sure to also order a hot chocolate, sourced from an old family business in the Dolomite mountains in Italy, and served in a bowl.
