The beautiful Northcote Road in Battersea is packed with lovely breakfast and brunch spots. Hidden just around this corner from Clapham Junction station is this gem. On a sunny day honestly nothing beats sitting on one of their outdoor tables watching the world go by.
The food here is absolutely delicious and served so beautifully you don’t want to bite into it. Well you do but then you want it to then re-appear over and over again. Alongside my favourite sourdough french toast, the story breakfast plate is another dreamy dish for those days where you just can’t decide what to have. Merquez sausage, hickory smoked beans, eggs, mushroom, avo, cherry tomato and toasted sourdough will see you properly fuelled for the day ahead. There’s something so satisfying about ordering those breakfasts that you’d just never make for yourself and with so many incredible components this is definitely one of them!
Their name ‘Story’ comes from their super transparent approach to sourcing all produce including bread, dairy and their outstanding coffee. Sourced from Square Mile, Modern Standards and other world renowned roasters, they certainly know how to make a good brew.
Definitely one to keep in your back pocket if you’re ever passing through or meeting friends near Clapham Junction station. Or with Battersea Park or Clapham Common not so far away, how about making a day of it.
