Delamina’s eastern Mediterranean menu is inspired by the owners’ heritage and their passion for healthy eating. The chefs rely on grilling and roasting, and use herbs and spices to celebrate raw ingredients. Having started as a pop-up at Shoreditch House called Strut & Cluck, the restaurant continues to showcase turkey and vegetarian dishes with a focus on spices from Lebanon, Turkey and Israel.
Breakfast dishes are centred around eggs and pita bread, with customer favourites such as the fried egg on hand-pulled turkey shawarma, green shakshuka and pita paradise (with mascarpone, honey, nuts and seasonal fruit). Delamina also offers drinks for all occasions, from celebratory Bellinis to relaxing teas and refreshing juices.
The bright and modern space has an eclectic look, combining various styles of pendant lights, furniture, walls and flooring – everything from wooden furniture and whitewashed brick, to marble table-tops and tiled walls. The varied looks are brought together by homely decor such as large round mirrors, greenery and a tree branch in blossom hung above the bar. The restaurant also features a signature green shopfront.
